    Stephanie Urchick is a member of the Rotary Club of McMurray, Pennsylvania, USA. She will serve RI as president in 2024–25. She has been an RI director and Rotary Foundation trustee. She has served RI in numerous capacities, including as training leader, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, and RI president's representative. In addition, Stephanie was a representative and member-at-large to three sessions of the Council on Legislation.

    Dan Smith is the Director of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). He served four years in the UN Peacebuilding Fund Advisory Group, two as Chair (2010–2011). He was part-time Professor of Peace and Conflict at the University of Manchester from 2014 to 2017. Before taking up his post at SIPRI, he was Secretary General of the London-based peacebuilding NGO, International Alert (2003–2015) and Director of the International Peace Research Institute, Oslo (1993–2001).

    Jamie LeSueur received Uppsala University's 2020 Alumnus of the Year award and the Rotary Peace Fellowship. He also received his Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University in 2015. He is Head of Emergency Operations (HEOps) at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

    PHF Juha Karjalainen has been a Rotarian since 2006. Having just completed his three-year AG season, he now serves as his Club President and at ShelterBox Finland.

    Päivi is Past President of Porvoo läntinen - Borgå västra RC in Helsinki region. She chairs the District (1420) International Service Committe. Päivi acts as a Board Director of ESRAG (Environmental Sustainability Action Group) and is a co-founder of BASRAN.

    Joseph Augustine is a distinguished Rotary Peace Fellow and an accomplished professional from Nigeria, specializing in sustainable development initiatives across Africa. He recently completed a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at Uppsala University, Sweden.

    Rasmus Peter Egeskjold is a Rotary International Staff member specializing in membership and club development on district and club levels. He is also a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) global team for Rotary International and a district advisor in DEI. He is a member of the Copenhagen Rotary Club and has served as a club secretary and membership chair.

  • Carina Nilsson

    Carina Nilsson has been President of the Malmö City Council since October 2018 and is the first woman to hold this position. Between 2008 and 2018, she was the Deputy Mayor and the chairman of the municipal welfare, healthcare, and social services board.
